I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list.

Hello, and Welcome! I'm glad you are here. I hope my website and blog ramblings help you in some simple way. Perhaps, I can bring a smile to your lips, or introduce you to a new destination, or with any luck; be your personal tour guide to travel near and far.

You may ask me how did you get started with selling travel? A fair question of course. While I have always had a bit of wanderlust, it wasn't until I was "middle-aged" before I was able to find a home in this passion. I returned to college as an adult (for a second time) to get a degree in the Culinary Arts. What? That doesn't make sense? Yeah, I hear ya - stick with me on this. :) After a semester of culinary with a large dose of hospitality mixed in I decided the hospitality field held more appeal and a stronger sense of career for me. So, I completed my degree in hotel & restaurant management and then continued on to get another degree in Economics, Management & Business. During this process I was final able to get my foot in the door of a local Hilton hotel as a Sales Manager. I felt I had found where I belonged - at an old age, yes - but still so happy to love what I do.

After getting a couple of years in wowing my guests and clients at the hotel I applied to be a "Magic Creator" with a local travel company. This was a program they had been running for about 10 years where they hired Disney fanatics to work from home selling travel. The focus was on Disney destinations but other opportunities were opened up to move over time. As of this posting, the company has discontinued that program as it was originally established. They now work with these agents as independent contractors. This was great for me because it took off all limitations to what I could sell. From that moment forward, I became a sponge for travel knowledge and begin getting my certifications with the various travel companies to bring the best and most up-to-date information to you - the customer.

How do my services differ from others? Well, quite frankly, the cost and promotions are the same. I can't give you a better deal than other travel agents. I can't book any sooner than what the company itself makes available to myself and everyone else in the field. However, what I CAN do is to look out for you on a personal level, I can share my knowledge and work to find you the best deal, help you find the best travel dates, and be your personal point person for all things travel. I will remember your child's birthday with a card. I will help you with tips and tricks on your destination to make your trip the best it can be. And, I will work tirelessly to make your travel dreams a reality. Are you ready for the journey?
